Host a Food Drive

At Iron Gate, we feed the hungry of Tulsa every day, and it’s people like you who help make that possible. Through our grocery pantry, we assist Tulsa families in making ends meet. In 2023, we provided groceries to 53,044 households. One of the easiest and most impactful ways you can help is by hosting a food drive. By joining us in this effort, you’ll ensure that our guests can continue receiving groceries to keep them fed.

Collect with your family, friends, co-workers, school, or congregation. Click here to find a list of items to collect.

Donation Drop Off Hours:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 8am -12pm, 2-4pm
Tuesday/Thursday - 8am - 4pm
Saturday/Sunday - 9am - 2pm

Pack Kid’s Packs

Every child who comes to the Iron Gate gets a special treat just for them. It’s called a Kids Pack, which is a quart sized bag filled with healthy, kid-friendly snacks. Each Kids’ Pack contains a combination of five of the following items:

Shelf-stable milk or 100% juice box

Protein bars or granola bars

Fruit Cup, Pudding Cup, Applesauce (please include plastic spoon)

Packaged crackers (pretzels, goldfish,sandwich crackers)

Dried fruit, raisins

Fruit snacks

Quart-sized bags

Collect Plastic and Brown Grocery Bags

Iron Gate uses over 1,000 bags a week. Collect plastic bags or brown grocery sacks and donate them to Iron Gate. You can drop off your bags during the hours listed above.

Donate in Honor of Memory of your loved one

It’s a special gift to someone to give back in their honor or memory. When you make a tribute donation, Iron Gate will send a card to them or their family to notify them of your donation. This is the perfect gift to spread the love and give back to the hungry and homeless of Tulsa.

Donate Winter Cold Gear or Hygiene Items

Although our main focus is food, 87% of our community meal guests are experiencing homelessness. Hygiene items, feminine products, or winter gear items all help our guests.
