Ways to Get Involved
Iron Gate depends on the compassion and generosity of our community. You are essential to our ability to feed the hungry and homeless of Tulsa every. There are several ways you can make a difference in the lives of our guests.
Volunteer
There are many opportunities for you to serve at Iron Gate. From serving the community meal, prepping in the pantry or helping guests during our grocery pantry, there is something for you to help with!
Visit our volunteer page for more information and to sign up to volunteer.
Host a Food Drive
Engage your family, work, faith group, or other community organization to help feed our neighbors in need by hosting a food drive. Collect food items in a day, a week, or a month, then bring them by Iron Gate to donate.
Iron Gate provides grocery assistance to households three times a week. You can help provide groceries to a family who needs a little extra help to get through hard times. Your donations help stock our pantry and provide variety to our guests while they shop our food pantry.

Donate
Iron Gate relies on the generosity of Tulsa. Support comes from individual donors, faith organizations, businesses, foundations and service organizations. There are many ways to give to Iron Gate:
Sponsor a Day
Become a Monthly Donor
Help Iron Gate by making a donation of $5,000. That’s the cost of our daily operations. You or your organization can also choose to come volunteer on the day you sponsored.
Sign up for automatic monthly giving in any denomination you choose. Just $25 a month is enough to provide 7 hearty meals for Iron Gate guests.
Kid’s Pack Supplier
Iron Gate has a special heart for kids battling food insecurity. These quart-sized bags full of kid-friendly snacks are specifically reserved for our youngest guests. Every child who comes to the dining room receives one and we provide every parent who comes to the grocery pantry with a kid’s pack for every child in their household. As a kid’s pack supplier you would underwrite the cost of a months worth of kid’s packs: $1,200.
Donate in honor of a loved one
Celebrate his/her life, birthday, or anniversary and we'll send them a card for you.
Donate Toiletry Items
Although Iron Gate focuses on providing food, our guests sometimes request hygiene items. Anything from deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. You can drop by these items at the donation drop-off hours listed above.
